Short Courses ECS Short Courses offer a perfect opportunity to learn about and polish your skills on topics that are fundamental to electrochemistry or solid state science and technology. These full-day short courses are in conjunction with ECS biannual meetings, typically held between 9AM and 4:30PM on the opening Sunday of a meeting.

Meeting attendees are encouraged to take advantage of Short Courses. Registration fees are modest and cover the short course, luncheon, coffee breaks, and text materials. Students may take advantage of a 50% discount on short course registration. Please note, however, Short Course Registration fee does not include or apply to the general Meeting Registration, and it is not applicable to any other activities of the meeting.
Professional Development Workshops
ECS sponsors a series of free professional development workshops at its biannual meetings. These important workshops provide up-to-date information, and often personal consultation, on enhancing career opportunities through résumé refinement and networking. The professional development workshops are open to all registered meeting attendees at no additional cost.
