Urgent notice: Beware of housing pirates
Organizations commonly referred to as “housing pirates” (such as Hotel Booking Consulting, CBS International Travel, Global Housing, Golden Pass LLC, and Elite Housing Services) may contact you regarding hotel reservations for ECS events. A housing pirate is a company or individual which falsely represents itself as an official ECS event housing provider, often soliciting exhibitors and attendees to book accommodations through them at inflated rates or with hidden fees. Housing pirates may say that an ECS employee directed them to call you or that they can get cheaper hotel rates. Be advised; these are all scams. Companies like this are in no way affiliated with ECS.
No one should ever email or call you on behalf of ECS to book your hotel room. ECS does not offer promotional/savings codes for hotel reservations. Companies offering promotional/savings codes for hotel reservations are not affiliated in any way with ECS.
Official housing information is only available on the ECS website. It is best to book your rooms for ECS Meetings directly through the ECS event website. Contact meetings@electrochem.org with any questions or concerns.

To keep meeting costs as low as possible for attendees and ECS, we encourage use of the ECS housing block. We negotiated the best deal possible to provide you with the most competitive rates and convenient location. Rates at the Hilton Chicago start at $239* per night. Reserve your room as soon as possible as the hotel block is sure to sell out quickly.
Cancellation policy
The one-night deposit required when making reservations is refundable for up to 72 hours prior to arrival.
Online reservations
The block opens in June 2025 and closes on September 22, 2025, or when the block sells out.
