Bruce Parkinson’s current research covers a wide range of areas including electrochemistry, materials chemistry, nanomaterials, photoelectrochemistry on Mars and photoelectrochemical energy conversion. He has more than 210 publications in peer-reviewed journals and holds 5 US patents and is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
After many jobs in laboratories and research centers, Parkinson became Professor of Chemistry at Colorado State University in 1991. Upon his departure in 2008, Parkinson joined the Department of Chemistry and the School of Energy Resources at the University of Wyoming, where he is now the J.E. Warren Professor of Energy and Environment.
