As we reflect on the 115th anniversary of ECS, it is also important to look towards the future and strengthen opportunities for the next generation of scientists.
In 2016, ECS provided support for student and early career scientists through:
- Awarding more than $80,000 in travel grant assistance;
- Providing resources and development of a record 64 student chapters, worldwide;
- Growing educational, career and professional development curricula.
Your ongoing participation in our meetings, publications and/or membership assist in funding many of these programs.
Our sciences hold the answers for our planet’s sustainability. Our future generations of scientists are the answer for the sustainability of your ECS community.
Now is the time to support ECS by making a donation or becoming a member today. Support the next generation of scientists, our lively and substantive meeting programs, and ECS’s initiative to Free the Science that aims to make our high quality, peer-reviewed research freely available to everyone.
