Student travel grants
Application rules and eligibility
The ECS Twin Cities Section supports the travel of one or more students to the fall biannual ECS meeting. Awardees receive up to USD $1,000 to be used for travel expenses to attend an ECS biannual meeting, and a one-year complimentary ECS membership and Twin Cities section membership.
Applicants for this award must be enrolled in a college or university in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, or Iowa; pursuing any degree in any STEM area; and presenting either a poster or presentation at an upcoming ECS meeting. ECS membership is not required to receive the award.
Application requirements
A complete application packet must include:
- Completed electronic application form;
- Letter of reference/support from faculty outlining the student’s strengths and weaknesses;
- A resume or CV;
- An accepted presentation or poster abstract for the upcoming ECS meeting.
