Student & postdoc travel grants
The Electronics and Photonics Division offers travel grants of up to $600 each to students presenting papers at ECS Meetings. Eligible students must be scheduled to present a paper in a symposium sponsored or co-sponsored by the Electronics and Photonics Division. Students are also required to submit a manuscript to the conference proceedings, ECS Transactions.
YK Associates Travel Grant
Sponsored by YK Associates and their principal, Yue Kuo, a long-time member and Past President of ECS (2018-2019), this grant provides $500 in travel support to a full-time graduate student to present an accepted paper at an Electronics and Photonics Division symposium held at a biannual meeting of The Electrochemical Society.
The YK Associates Travel Grant is available for the ECS biannual meetings occurring from 2020 through 2024.
Applications must include:
- Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s advisor or research supervisor
- Copy of abstract
- Copy of ECS Transactions manuscript
