Student & postdoc travel grants
Travel grants to assist student members and post-doctoral members of the High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division (H-TEMP) are available for requests up to $600 each (student) and $1,000 each (post-doctoral). Grants will be made on a merit-based assessment, with up to 10 awards made per biannual society meeting (1 person/research group).
Successful grant applicants must demonstrate the following:
- indicate H-TEMP as their primary division
- be the presenter of their research in an H-TEMP-sponsored symposium at ECS meetings
- indicate intent to submit an associated manuscript to ECS journal
- demonstrate high-quality research

Young professional travel grants
Travel grants to assist young professional and early career members of the High-Temperature Energy, Materials, & Processes Division (H-TEMP) are available for requests up to $600 each. Grants will be made on a merit-based assessment, with up to 10 awards made per biannual society meeting.
Successful grant applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Indicate H-TEMP as their primary division.
- Be the presenter of their research in an H-TEMP-sponsored symposium at ECS meetings.
- Indicate intent to submit an associated manuscript to ECS journal.
- Demonstrate high-quality research and strong support (judged by supervisor letter).
