Symposium D04 – Quantum Dot Science and Technology
ECS Travel Grants provide financial assistance for early career electrochemists and Society members to participate in ECS meetings.
Many ECS divisions and sections offer travel grants to undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, young professionals, and faculty presenting papers at ECS biannual meetings. Applications must be submitted no later than the deadlines listed on the ECS website. ECS divisions and sections may have additional application requirements. The Electrochemical Society is actively monitoring the worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and preparing for any potential impact on the upcoming 239th ECS Meeting and 18th International Meeting on Chemical Sensors (IMCS) in Chicago, IL, on May 30-June 3, 2021.
At present, we are proceeding with abstract submission and all preparations for an in person event in Chicago. We are working closely with our conference venue, the Hilton Chicago, to stay abreast of the latest developments, and to ensure that they adopt the requisite onsite preventive measures for the health and well-being of our attendees. Dr. Nam-Gyu Park, Professor and SKKU-Fellow at the School of Chemical Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, will lead the PRiME 2020 plenary this year as the featured lecturer, presenting his talk, “Perovskite Solar Cells: Past 10 Years and Next 10 Years.”
What’s it all about? Dr. Park, a solid-state perovskite solar cell pioneer, chatted with ECS and shared the message behind his talk, including his work with perovskite solar cells, the materials significance to the science community as a whole, and the future of the promising material. (more…)
