You are invited to nominate qualified candidates for the India Section S.K. Rangarajan Graduate Student Award.
Established in 2017, the award assists a deserving student in India pursue a career in disciplines related to electrochemistry and solid state science and technology. The award honors Sarukkai Krishnamachari “SKR” Rangarajan (1932 – 2008) for his dedication and contributions to electrochemical science and technology.
The award, consisting of a framed certificate, $500 (USD) prize, and complimentary one-year ECS membership, will be presented to the winner at the ECS India Section meeting. The recipient may be invited to speak at that meeting about his or her work, or on another topic of interest to the field of electrochemistry. The recipient will also be featured in Interface magazine and invited to submit a paper for inclusion in an ECS publication.

ECS sections introduce and support activities in electrochemistry and solid state science within specific regions. They also bring technical news and activities to those who are not able to attend ECS meetings. Sections participate in ECS affairs, work to increase ECS membership, and help create awareness for the science.
