Symposium focus: We seek contributions in all areas of biological electrochemistry research. This includes electrochemical research on living biological entities such as bacteria and mammalian cells, research on models of biological systems, electroanalytical approaches towards disease detection and the understanding of disease progression. Contributions in the field of protein and enzyme electrochemistry and the development of biosensors are equally of interest.
