For over thirty years, The Electrochemical Society Interface magazine has been the voice of ECS members. The Society’s for-members by-members publication has shared announcements of great achievements, awards, and milestones; technical information; and hot topics from the community—including announcements of losses and memorials. For years, ECS members enjoyed having Interface reach their mailboxes and rest on their coffee tables. However, the organization has grown and its membership spans the globe. The importance of minimizing one’s carbon footprint has risen in criticality. Therefore, as the organization seeks to expand its reach digitally, Interface will no longer be printed, packed, and shipped to members. It will be available exclusively on the ECS Digital Library. The ECS Honors & Awards Program provides many opportunities to honor the outstanding achievements and contributions to electrochemistry and solid state science made by ECS members at every level, and recognize exceptional service to the Society. In addition, each year ECS provides for, and facilitates the use of, thousands of dollars in fellowships and biannual meeting travel grants to support students’ and early career researchers’ efforts to advance electrochemistry and solid state science.
Please note these upcoming deadlines and submit applications and nominations as soon as possible!
