ECS seeks to fill two Technical Editor positions in the Sensors Technical Interest Area (TIA). The first serves the wide range of sensors topics for ECS Sensors Plus. The second covers sensors topics for the Journal of The Electrochemical Society and ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology.

Nominees for these positions must possess and maintain scientific knowledge of the scope of the sensors topical interest area. Technical Editors are appointed for a minimum initial two-year term, renewable for additional terms, up to a maximum of 12 total years of service in this role. (more…)

First ECS Advances Issue is Live

The Electrochemical Society is proud to announce the premiere issue of ECS Advances, the Society’s first Gold Open Access journal spanning all ECS topical interest areas. This multidisciplinary forum of peer-reviewed, high-quality content covers all technical areas supported by the Society. ECS Advances publishes original full-length work, brief communication-style papers, perspectives, review articles, and special issues. The new journal leads and promotes scholarly communication and interaction among scientists, engineers, and technologists pursuing research in electrochemistry, solid state science, and related technologies. IOP announces a significant investment in the range of ECS Digital Library on IOP Science features. The investment is part of ECS’s and IOP’s commitment to ensuring the platform’s functionality, accessibility, performance, and security. In the coming weeks, to modernise and improve the platform, a small number of features will be temporarily unavailable with some withdrawn completely where usage is low or alternatives are available.
