Topic Close-up #8
Symposium H06: Nonvolatile Memories and Artificial Neural Networks
Symposium focus:
This symposium will focus on the following topics:
1. Ultrahigh density, fast switching memories beyond 3D NAND flash;
2. New trend of nonvolatile memories showing fast switching and ultra-low power consumption such as FeRAM and STT-MRAM;
3. Neuromorphic devices and their use for artificial neurons, synapses, and memristors with plasticity. Typically, OxRAM, CBRAM, and PCM capable of realizing STDP (spike time dependent plasticity) for neural networks.
