Mission and vision statements
The ECS San Francisco Section is a network of electrochemical researchers in Northern California. As a section of The Electrochemical Society, our mission is to connect academia with industry; promote career growth for scientists and engineers; and facilitate learning for students in electrochemistry and related fields in the region. We strive to build an electrochemistry ecosystem through knowledge exchange by holding quarterly seminar series with distinguished speakers, the Young Investigator Lecture Series, and short courses; administering annual section awards; and participating in Society events.

Get involved with your community; join the ECS San Francisco Section!
ECS Sections introduce and support activities in electrochemistry and solid state science within specific regions. Getting involved with a section is an excellent networking opportunity for those new to the field or advanced in their careers. Sections bring technical news and activities within reach of those who are not able to attend ECS meetings. Sections also work hard to participate overall in ECS affairs, increase ECS membership, and help create awareness for the science.
Joining the ECS San Francisco Section is easy! Simply add the section when you become a Society member or renew your membership. Or, contact CustomerService@electrochem.org for assistance and more information.
