You are invited to nominate qualified candidates for the following section award:
The India Section S.K. Rangarajan Graduate Student Award was established last year to assist a deserving student in India to pursue a career in disciplines related to electrochemistry and solid state science and technology. The award was created to honor the memory of Dr. S.K. Rangarajan for his dedication and contributions to electrochemical science and technology.
The award consists of:
- A framed certificate
- A $500 (USD) prize
- A complimentary one-year ECS membership.
The award will be presented at the December meeting of the India Section where the recipient will also be invited to speak about his or her work or on another topic of interest within our fields. In 2017, the section proudly recognized Anatharaj S as the inaugural winner of the award.

The ECS Honors and Awards Program promotes technical achievements in electrochemistry and solid state science and technology. The program also recognizes exceptional service to the Society.
